Fifteen years old and already winning a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer — still the youngest winner on record — for "Aap Jaisa Koi" in Qurbani. Her 1981 album Disco Deewane, recorded at Abbey Road of all places, sold past 65 million copies and made her the first Pakistani artist to chart in the UK.
